According to Orthodox Judaism, the area from the collar bone, to the elbows and down to the knees must be covered by clothing that is loose fitting. Meanwhile light weight tracksuits are becoming popular with both men and women. They cost very little, avoid sunburn and feel pleasant as they dry in the breeze after you've been in the water. Matching tops and pants make this a practical outfit on land or in the water for less than €20. The advantage of these outfits is that you can also wear them when you're not swimming. Choose the unlined variety, so water doesn't collect between the two layers.
